Wic

Women, infants & Children for pregnant mothers, and mothers with infants and small children, children under 5 yrs. old, including those cared for by a single father, grandparent, foster parent, step parent or guardian.

WIC offers families

  • Breast feeding support
  • Checks to buy healthy food
  • Health and Social service referrals

Once enrolled you will receive food checks, which can be used at local groceries stores for items such as: cereal, juice, milk, cheese, eggs, whole grain items, dry beans, fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables, baby food, and infant cereal.

A client service representative will navigate you through your situation by assessing your need, then matching your need to the closest resource in your community, cal fresh, healthcare assistance, utility bill payment assistance, housing and shelter, homeless services, soup kitchens, clothing, local transportation needs and expense assistance, child care & early development, military & veteran services.
